Vittorio Constantini was born in Burano, an island near Murano, in the Lagoon of Venice. He began his apprenticeship at the furnace when he was 11. Since 1973, when he opened his studio in Venice, he has concentrated on flameworking. Multicolored insects, iridescent butterflies, birds, fish, and colorful flowers... these are his creations. Vittorio's policy has always been to " let the people know about the lampworking" through exhibitions all over the world. In the last few years he has devoted himself to demonstrating and teaching.
